Maddie Ziegler-Dance Moms Dancer
Madison Nicole Ziegler is a 10 year old dancer who appears on the show Dance Moms. Maddie Ziegler was called Taylor for the first two days of her life. She is Polish, Italian and German. Her birthday is September 30th 2002. Her parents names are Kurt Ziegler and Melissa Ziegler. However, Melissa is now engaged to Greg Gisoni. Greg is the Nuclear Services vice president & project director at Westinghouse Energy Center. Melissa is a regular on Dance Moms and Kurt has been on Dance Moms once, Kurt wants to take Maddie and Mackenzie out of Abby Lee Miller’s dance studio. Maddie lives in Murrysville, PA and dances for the Abby Lee Miller Dance Company in Penn Hills, PA. Maddie does all styles of dance, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Pointe and Acro. Maddie Ziegler started dancing at just 2 years old, and started dancing at Abby Lee Miller Dance Company when she was 4. Her favorite styles of dance to perform are Lyrical and Tap and those are what she wins her titles for. She performed mostly Lyrical solos during seasons 1 and 2 of Dance Moms. Her favorite thing about dance is learning new routines and performing on stage. Maddie Ziegler wants to be a professional dancer when she grows up, either on Broadway or as a choreographer. Her favorite subject in school is Math and her favorite color is neon blue, pink and purple. She has a younger sister Mackenzie Ziegler who is 7 and also dances on Dance Moms. Maddie also two half brothers Tyler and Ryan Ziegler. Maddie also has two future step siblings Michele and Mathew Gisoni. Maddie has a Twitter page and Instagram but does not have a Facebook. Maddie had to delete her Facebook because of the fame she got from being on Dance Moms, she could not keep up with all the fans. Maddie’s nickname is Maddawg. Her goal for the year is to win Elite Dancer at West Coast dance Explosion.
The Ziegler’s have a room in their house called “the store” that houses all their dance clothes, costumes, and jewelery. Her mom, Melissa Ziegler has a Twitter. In high school Melissa was a cheerleader and on student council. Maddie takes singing lessons but does not have time for anything else because of dance! She is in 4th grade at Sloan Elementary School. In season one of Dance Moms Maddie was undefeated all season 1 except for one dance competition. Before Dance Moms ever started she won many awards and titles in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Maddie is really not mean, it’s the show that does that! She works the hardest. She is there from morning to night dancing! Team Maddie ALL THE WAY!

Maddie does NOT work harder ALL the girls work the same…just some work harder at home ans som work harder at the studio(where they get more attention)
NOBODY here know the girls personally you may have “met” them at the “meet and greet” but that does NOT count…..THEY ALL WORK HARD……..Maddie was never mean and she still is NOT mean…so please dont say “this girl works harder then that girl” cause it no fair to them THEY ALL WORK REALLY HARD TO WIN….NOBODY is perfect ,,,everyone makes mistakes

I do not agree!!! maddie is only nine years old, and has the best dancing and acting skills! maddie does work the hardest and never said that she wanted to quit like chloe in lake tahoe! and again.. who is winning all the compititions? oh right MADDIE. and why do think abby gives her all the attention? because she is clearly the most dedicated and skilled.

Chloe said she wanted to quit because she was FRUSTRATED. She was feeling the stress of dancing at Nationals. If you’re a dancer, you would understand the incredible pressure of Nationals, and it just really got to Chloe that week. It doesn’t mean that she’s not as committed to dance as Maddie, just that she doesn’t have the same strength of character. As for Maddie winning competitions, Maddie has incredibly beautiful stage presence, wonderful facials, and dances very emotionally. However, dancers can recognize that her balance is very off on her turns, her arms aren’t positioned correctly, and that the “throws” herself into her leaps, instead of appearing weightless. But in a world of SYTYCD and overwhelming popularity for Contemporary dances, Maddie definitely has advantages over Chloe’s technically flawless dancing. The two are like comparing apples and oranges both in personality and dance styles…incredibly different!

I agree Clearly all the girls work hard but Maddie Isnt the best dancer in my opinion every one of the girls is really good at dancing because im 12 and im good at dancing but not like them!

Maddie is clearly the best dancer on the show, whether she is the nicest or not. She is a truly amazing dancer and is gifted. She is my idol and she is only 9 years old! Follow your dreams girl! <3

Hi, my name is Maddie. I’m 12 years old— my birthday is June 4th like Mackenzie’s and I live in NJ. Anyway, I think at any given time Maddie and Chloe top each other. Yes, Chloe forgot her routine- as did Paige, may I add- but Maddie fell on her behind during Season 2.
And I doubt Chloe usually forgets her routines, or that Maddie usually falls. They both had tremendous pressure on them to win as they were living up a dance legacy. Both are talented and shouldn’t be compared.
BTW, when Maddie was Miss Small Fry DEA, she was six or seven years old and Brooke was Junior Miss PA, as the year was 2009 and Brooke was around 11 or 12.
Chloe is three years younger than Brooke and was Junior Miss PA 2011.
And the competitions you saw Chloe and Maddie go against— those are just a few shown on camera. They’ve competed a lot more— and Chloe and Maddie go back-and-forth for a win.
Additionally, for all those laughing at Chloe missing her routine, how many of you have frozen on stage? And also, how many of you can dance as well as Maddie, Chloe, or even Mackenzie? Most of the negative commentors here can’t even do a split. Quit hating on Maddie, Chloe, or anyone plz.

And Maddie was Petite Miss Starbound. At the same competition, Chloe won Junior Miss Starbound.
My favorite dancers at ALDC: Madd-Dog (Maddie), Chlobird (Chloe), Paigey Mack (Paige) and Kenz (Mackenzie.) All the dancers are my favorites but Kendall, Nia, and Brooke don’t have any nicknames so I couldn’t list ‘em…. but go girls… u r all awesome and guess wat this is maddie’s page but i can talk about all the girls if i want 2.. there r no rules sayin i can’t!!!
